DPD, currently located on the 6th floor of a building in Issy-les-Moulineaux, has recently leased the 5th floor with the aim of creating additional meeting rooms. To meet this challenge, the delivery company has entrusted Tétris with the management of the construction work as well as the furniture aspect.
This transformation project represents a central issue in DPD's growth, which aims to optimize its workspace to meet the growing needs of its teams in terms of technology, capacity, and confidentiality.
Tétris took on the challenge of completely transforming the 5th floor by undertaking extensive work. The space was entirely gutted to create the necessary conditions for the project's realization and to add an acoustic barrier to the false ceiling. The partitions planned by the architect were located on fan coil units that our Build teams had to work around to optimize spaces, acoustically treat the partitions, and thus create seven new meeting rooms, a storage area, a cafeteria, and an informal space.
Each meeting room was renamed after a city, referencing DPD's locations in Europe.
DPD's objective was to create a simple, functional, and ergonomic floor that meets the various needs of employees in terms of exchange modes and practicality. In this regard, the floor was equipped with LED lighting that offers both optimal comfort and better energy efficiency.
DPD positions itself as a European player and invites travel through Europe's major capitals through the design of this floor. The spaces were designed with simplicity, referencing the company's adaptability and versatility. The use of neutral colors allowed the furniture service to create distinct atmospheres in each meeting room through furniture selection: one room, one color; bold and vibrant colors and organic shapes to give a sense of dynamism, in a contemporary inspiration but without visual overload. The ambition was to combine style and functionality to offer employees a functional and inspiring work environment.
All rooms have been optimized for hybrid and connected meeting modes with an ergonomic video conferencing system. The France room, for example, which has been set up in a modular and separable manner thanks to a retractable table and a mobile partition, can reach 93 m². The ceiling was completely redone to integrate a high-quality audio system and a bracket-mounted television. A tablet connection system was also developed to facilitate exchanges.
Tétris is very proud to have supported DPD on this project that serves the delivery company's growth. This floor offers employees new opportunities in terms of activity and meets the technological needs of the European company in an ergonomic environment that reflects its brand image.
