The hotel on La Croisette, famous for its celebrity guests, wanted a facelift and chose Tétris for this task.
A sizeable challenge tackled by Tétris: 9 months were enough to refurbish 254 rooms, 23 suites, 15 meeting rooms, as well as the public areas (lobby, reception, restaurant, terrace and garden).
The challenge was to adapt and deploy an architectural concept designed by the firm Pierre-Yves Rochon with tight deadlines.
The 20,000 m² at Le Martinez were subject to a bespoke refurbishment, retaining its spirit and following the designer’s brief. Noble materials such as marble, staff and gilding were used to underline the elegance and grandeur of the location. The challenge was also to cleverly rearrange public areas to free up space. The outside of the hotel was also refurbished: a new bar was created outside, as well as a garden with a sea view. The restaurant was opened up to the outside, and a panoramic lift was added.
