Building on the success of the refurbishment of the Léman building two years ago, Collège du Léman has once again called on Tétris for an ambitious refurbishment and refurbishment project on its campus.
The challenge was to transform and modernise the Portena building, which is made up of two separate units - a 1970s building and a traditional Swiss villa - totalling 4 levels. The aim was to create a comfortable and contemporary living and study space for the in-house students, while preserving the unique character of each building.
Tétris approached this complex project with an in-depth understanding of the needs of Collège du Léman, gained from our previous collaboration. Our approach took into account the specific architectural features of each building, while ensuring the overall coherence of the project.
The key points of our intervention include:
- Respectful restoration of the traditional Swiss villa, preserving its authentic charm.
- Fitting out modern, functional rooms, adapted to the needs of today's students.
- The creation of convivial communal areas to encourage residents to socialise and enjoy themselves.
- Quiet study areas and common rooms for collaborative working.
In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, Tétris implemented eco-responsible solutions, including the use of sustainable materials and the installation of intelligent energy management systems.
The result is a transformed boarding school that combines modern comfort with traditional charm. The new spaces offer a stimulating living and study environment, meeting the needs of Collège du Léman boarding students while respecting the architectural heritage of the campus.
This project reinforces the relationship of trust between Tétris and Collège du Léman, demonstrating our ability to manage complex projects involving different architectural styles. It also underlines our expertise in the rehabilitation of existing buildings, adapting them to modern standards while preserving their original character.
