In an innovative approach combining technology and sustainability, SoftwareOne, an expert in software and Cloud services management and optimization, previously based in Levallois, wanted to relocate and turn its office into a European flagship reflecting its innovative vision and values.
Tétris and its parent company JLL once again demonstrated the group's ability to offer an integrated solution by supporting the company both in the search for new premises and in the design, fit-out, and furniture solution aspects.
SoftwareOne leased a 1,420 sq m floor and a 270 sq m private terrace within the "So Pop" building in Saint-Ouen.
The main challenge for the Tétris teams was to design a space that combines aesthetics, sustainability, and functionality.
Spaces adapted to all needs
The space planning was defined on a multifunctional approach with several types of spaces, alcoves, and partitions that cater to different uses, promote circulation flows, and also allow for informal meetings. It features a Genius Bar serving as a collaborative IT space, a "village square" that can be converted into a reception or projection room, acoustically optimized thanks to an (acoustic) mural, and a nap and nursing room. The innovation room, equipped with a removable stage, perfectly illustrates this flexibility.
A bold and functional design
Our teams benefited from great creative freedom to design a dynamic, modern, and sustainable architectural identity.
The Design Studio drew inspiration from SoftwareOne's new graphic charter and the vibrant, pop colors of the building's common areas. The result: a harmonious and luminous blend of rounded lines, curved and slim volumes, and natural materials, creating an atmosphere that is both stimulating and friendly, conducive to well-being and performance. The window film and lighting fixtures were designed with reference to movements, flows, and information passages, in line with SoftwareOne's activity.
The choice of furniture came to support the design concept by bringing versatility: the seating is of different shapes, heights, or positions, and most workstations are height-adjustable. The eco-responsible dimension was also placed at the heart of the project. SoftwareOne wanted to prioritize bio-based, recycled materials or those from virtuous production. Thus, we find ""made in France"" furniture and, for each material, particular attention to its origin: paints based on earth sediments, backsplash made from marine sediments, terracotta or terrazzo materials. Vegetation also played an important role in the design of the spaces and helped reinforce this sustainable approach.
Completed in just 9 months, this project demonstrates exemplary collaboration between SoftwareOne, JLL, and Tétris. The client was heavily involved in the design as well as in the choice of furniture, which was tested and voted on by the teams. This participative approach allowed for the creation of a space truly adapted to the needs and aspirations of the employees.
With this new headquarters, SoftwareOne affirms its status as an innovative leader in the tech sector, while offering its employees an exceptional working environment that combines comfort, technology, and environmental responsibility. An achievement that perfectly illustrates the new trends in office design for forward-thinking companies.
