CDC Bordeaux (Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations) wanted to relocate from its historic headquarters to a new building delivered VEFA by Kaufman & Broad, a stone's throw from the Saint-Jean railway station in Bordeaux.
The new building will enable the Group to reconcile new working and mobility practices, contribute to its responsible approach and, at the same time, participate in the local development by being located in the heart of the new district of ZAC Amédée Saint-Germain.
1,400 employees were involved in this relocation to the 26,000m² of the new building.
Our Approach
On this project, the Tetris teams in Bordeaux brought to bear their expertise in fit-out consulting, interior design, space-planning, workspace management, 3D modeling, furniture solutions and transfer/mobility.
At the same time, JLL's teams carried out a major communications and change management program.
The achievements
During the design phase, which began in September 2020, the designers and interior architects developed a pleasant, functional living environment, encouraging exchanges and collaboration for all employees, with a distribution allowing greater transversality and collective spaces.
In the hallways, emblematic Bordeaux landmarks such as the Place de la Bourse, Gare St-Jean and the Chaban-Delmas bridge are highlighted, reminding us of the CDC's role as a driving force in the development of the Bordeaux region.
The Boardroom, with its top-of-the-range furniture and technological equipment, can accommodate around 30 people. Numerous other meeting rooms and more informal workspaces are available for collaborative working.
Tetris' contribution to the customer's strategy
The fit-out of these new spaces enables to fully embrace new working methods and practices within a new headquarters that provides comfort and modularity to meet the challenges of the employees, while remaining firmly rooted in the lo
