Entraide Union sought to relocate from their historic headquarters in a private mansion in Paris' 14th arrondissement. While the teams were particularly attached to this space, it no longer met the association's needs in terms of capacity, image, comfort, and adaptability to new work modes.
The association acquired new offices in Cachan (94) and entrusted Tétris with workplace strategy consulting, design, space planning, fit-out, and furniture solutions. The challenge was to strike a balance between modernizing the environment and respecting the association's brand identity, while engaging all employees in this transformative project.
To facilitate the adoption of the new offices, Entraide Union teams were involved from the project's inception. Bi-weekly workshops were organized with employee ambassadors, resulting in a tailored design concept and initiating discussions on flexible working.
The design aimed to be simple yet appealing, promoting collaboration, interaction, and comfort. Floors and spaces were crafted with distinct atmospheres, identifiable through colors chosen by the employees themselves. Upper floors were dedicated to work areas and small meeting rooms, while the ground floor was designed to encourage social interactions and collaborative spaces. Tea points were added on each floor to foster impromptu meetings, and a "plug and work" coworking space was created to familiarize employees with the concept of flexible working.
Tétris addressed the challenge of modernization and adaptation by upgrading all IT equipment and optimizing meeting rooms and collaborative spaces to facilitate hybrid interactions. The cafeteria was conceived as three modular spaces that transform into a single venue for events, enhanced with integrated microphones and speakers, movable partitions, and mobile furniture.
To promote employee well-being, the offices were designed with an outward focus. Natural light was central to the layout, and access to green spaces on the garden level was facilitated. The terrace was also equipped for outdoor work, offering a greater diversity of work settings. The use of materials with high acoustic performance, such as felt lampshades, enhanced comfort across all envisioned work postures.
Finally, it was crucial for the association to envision a real estate project aligned with their values. While few items from their Paris offices could be reused, equipment from the building's marketing suite was distributed across the three levels.
Tétris is proud to have supported Entraide Union in their transition to new, modern spaces. This project has reinvigorated the teams and the association's brand image, offering new opportunities for growth and activity. Tétris is honored to have contributed to improving the quality of work life for Entraide Union employees through a collaborative approach.
