Theramex, a pharmaceutical company dedicated to supporting the health needs of women, commissioned us to create their new headquarters in Milan. The goal of the project was to create workspaces that would strengthen the company's identity and engage employees, making them feel part of a group, in order to meet the need for an environment that represents the company's culture.
The challenge was to adapt the concept proposed by the global headquarters to local needs. During the design and construction phase, characterized by particularly complex logistics determined by the building's architecture, we worked in synergy to meet specific requirements and project needs.

The design is based on three fundamental principles: brand identity, biophilia, and smart and flexible workspaces. These three principles are emphasized through the use of colors, graphics, and finishes that evoke the company's colors and values, the introduction of green and natural elements in the spaces to establish a connection with nature, and the creation of flexible workstations enhanced with technological supports to encourage interaction, socialization, and professional relationships.
The spaces are organized into different areas in terms of size and features, offering the possibility of variable configurations to adapt to collaborative and individual work needs, allowing for different styles of work throughout the day. An ample open space with workstations is supported by representative meeting rooms and training rooms equipped with remote booking systems and state-of-the-art interactive audio/video equipment, phone booths, and more intimate spaces for individual meetings. There is also a reception area and a break area for socializing, which can also accommodate visitors.
In order to create a sustainable, inclusive, and wellness-oriented environment, we proposed certified materials, ergonomic furniture, and solutions that improve the acoustics and thermal comfort of the spaces, maximizing natural brightness. Photo: Davide Galli
