Tétris took the topline workplace strategy created by BDG and localised it.
Four core themes reflect the companies heritage and context- Joburg Hustle, (the energy of the city) the Forest (the world's largest urban forest) Witwatersrand (the region) and Gold Rush (the metal that built the city).
The themes form quarters of a central spine that runs through four floors. Each has a tailormade colour palette with brightly patterned wallpapers, furniture, planters, workspace dividers, collaborative whiteboards and signage. This core spine with many different working station options allows open plan desking circulating the outer perimeters to have access to natural light while creating a buzz of activity at the centre of the space.
Staff have over 25 different types of workspaces and room set ups to choose from. This range of workstyles encourages mobility, flexibility and collaboration among teams and promotes a shift in management style and company culture geared towards exploring new ways of working.
