The relationship of trust between Tétris and QBE, player in the insurance sector, was built a few years ago, when Tétris was first chosen by QBE to fit out its premises at Cœur Défense.
With the expiry of its lease, QBE was planning to move and upgrade its premises to create a more modern, dynamic working environment that reflected its brand identity.
JLL was commissioned to find and lease new offices, and Tétris was entrusted with the design concept, the office layout and the choice of furniture, as well as assistance with the move and installation. A truly 360° service to put all the Group's know-how to work for QBE.
QBE has chosen the CBX tower at La Défense to offer its employees a modern working environment, better suited to their activities. The aim of the move is to strengthen the spirit of collaboration.
A tailor-made layout
The layout is centred on the employee, and the workspace is scaled to suit each individual.
Tétris therefore naturally opted for a contemporary and bright flex office layout, which highlights the uncluttered and open spaces and integrates a multiplicity of traditional meeting rooms and informal areas, to offer a new geography of work zones. The workspaces have been designed and optimised for each activity.
Closed offices have been abolished in favour of open-plan workspaces, and acoustic comfort has been improved using sliding panels.
QBE's objective was to create a classic, sober and contemporary layout, favouring simplicity and a return to essentials. To meet this demand, Tétris was given carte blanche to propose an organic design concept (using rounded and asymmetrical shapes, soft colours, natural materials and plants), in harmony with the curved shape of the CBX building and QBE's graphic charter. It's a design that inspires confidence, reassurance and transparency.
Authenticity, right down to the materials used
The notion of simplicity and a return to basics is reflected in the choice of materials: mindful of the environmental quality of its project, QBE has kept the carpet from its former premises and has softened the spaces and the atmosphere by favouring the use of wood. In collaboration with a joiner, Tétris succeeded in unifying all the wooden elements, even the furniture, and thus brought uniqueness to the space.
By entrusting Tétris with the selection of the furniture, QBE was able to create an entire architectural concept in line with its brand identity and values.
Finally, the strength of this project lies in the turnkey aspect, enabling Tétris to manage the fitting-out and move seamlessly, in a record time of 5 months. This 360° approach reinforced the confidence and satisfaction of QBE, which was able to carry out the transfer with complete peace of mind.
