David Lloyd La Finca in Madrid, a high-end fitness and wellness club, approached us with a complex Build project spanning multiple areas within their facility. The scope included a two-level gymnasium, a luxurious spa, a café, an indoor and outdoor pool, children's areas, a spinning studio, outdoor spaces, and locker rooms. Each area required specialized construction techniques and finishes to meet the client's exacting standards and create distinct atmospheres for various activities.
The main challenge was to execute the pre-existing designs faithfully while ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies, custom-built elements, and high-end finishes. We needed to maintain the unique character of each space while creating a cohesive overall experience for club members.
We approached this Build project with meticulous planning and execution. In the gymnasium, we created two independent rooms with distinct themes - a yoga/relaxation area and a high-impact zone. We paid special attention to the window area overlooking the pool and the ground floor "free motion" zone, featuring a striking metal structure for weight storage.
For the spa, we focused on creating an immersive experience. The highlight was the unique Himalayan sauna, which required specialized construction techniques. We also installed heated loungers, showcasing our ability to integrate comfort-enhancing technologies.
The café's centerpiece, a spectacular bar, demonstrated our skill in creating statement architectural elements. In the indoor pool area, we installed expansive windows to maximize natural light and complement the carefully selected ceramics.
The children's area in the annex building required adaptable spaces for different age groups. We created 5 rooms, each with age-appropriate design and furniture. The teen room, featuring goal posts and an innovative design, showcases our ability to cater to specific user needs.
The spinning studio in the basement presented an opportunity to create an immersive experience. We implemented a total black design with LED lighting and cutting-edge technology, perfect for clients seeking out-of-the-box solutions.
Throughout the project, we maintained a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring each space not only met but exceeded our client's expectations. This Build project demonstrates our ability to bring complex designs to life, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that elevate the user experience.
