As part of the creation of a new medical sampling laboratory in Bordeaux region, Eurofins group asked Tétris to carry out the technical work and the fitting out of the 3 sampling rooms, the sorting room, the biologist's office and the team break room, while respecting the specific standards and constraints of medical spaces, as well as the group charter.
For purposes of creating a modern laboratory with a warm atmosphere, Tétris team began by carrying out work to repair the plumbing and electricity as well as the heating, ventilation and air conditioning.
Indeed, attention had to be paid to the proper renewal of air in the spaces, to maintain the temperature at 20°C in the sorting room for the preservation of samples, and to isolate the rooms to ensure the respect of medical secrecy.
The client then asked our team to imagine a cosy and colourful place, opposite to traditional laboratories, which are very sober, and do not necessarily promote the well-being of patients during this sometimes unpleasant time.
To achieve this, Tétris integrated the blue, orange and parma colours of the Eurofins group on the walls and in some pieces of the furniture, as well as references to nature - known to have a calming effect - such as parquet flooring, wallpaper representing trees, wooden lighting and large windows allowing daylight to enter.
