The new offices of the international company Heureka Group, Europe's largest price comparison site and online shopping advisor, are located in Prague, the Mississippi House building. It is one of the most technologically advanced buildings in the country.
We were asked to create a place that offers different possibilities for collaboration and where people can work together in plenty of different coworking and flexible spaces. The goal was to create enough different workspaces - for co-working or team meetings as well as for concentrated work.
The interior is designed in the spirit of a marketplace. In some areas, people can meet in the office on bar stools. In others there are long benches that resemble dining rooms. Glass partitions separate the individual seats with fancy black metal grids. There are several different focus booths, breaking up the classic open-space layout, as well as plenty of places for partial concentration and a variety of formal and informal meeting rooms.
The offices include a spacious kitchen used as a casual gathering place for meetings and presentations. Great emphasis was put on sustainability. The interior construction had to respect the building's technological and sustainable standards, to achieve Well and LEED platinum certifications. The offices are modern, and spacious and offer the perfect space for such a large technological company.
